The slim design of our Versatile Mounting Adapter for Binoculars allows it to be used with either porro-prism or roof-prism binoculars that feature a 1/4”-20 threaded socket in the center hinge. Many standard binocular tripod adapters are too wide to fit the relatively narrow space provided by the center hinge area on roof prism binoculars, where the threaded socket is located. Thanks to its slender design, the Orion Versatile Mounting Adapter for Binoculars fits most roof-prism binoculars easily so you can use your favorite binoculars comfortably.  

Installation is easy – just attach the base of the Versatile Mounting Adapter for Binoculars to the tripod you wish to use and attach you favorite pair of binoculars to the adapter using the ridged rubber knob.  The threaded 1/4"-20 socket fits standard tripod heads, and the adapter itself is 4.25” tall.
